Notice to Wholesalers & Resellers
We're often approached by gag, novelty and magic shops around the country asking for a catalog and inquiring about carrying our products. We don't produce a catalog and don't envision one in the near future (that's what our website is for). Regarding buying our products wholesale, our policy has been to advise that our profit margin is too slim to allow any real profit to a reseller.
We're willing to discuss this further, but only with the understanding that there simply isn't much room for a reseller. Some of our products, for instance, are a "break-even" deal, or worse yet, as in the case of the "small" size newspaper articles, we actually lose money. The logic is that we are more or less duty-bound to offer something that small and inexpensive, because if we didn't, someone else would. The "small" size newspaper clippings aren't worth any more than what we charge, but they still fill a need. Our "FONES" are another product we lose money on; we continue to sell them at a loss because they tend to bring customers back. We are willing to lose money in hopes of cultivating a repeat customer who will eventually buy something we do make money on. Think of it as something like the big book publishing houses who set aside a portion of their budgets for books that "need" to be published, but which are certain to never turn a profit.
We may be able to drop-ship customized newspapers in the "whole" size, affording a small profit to the seller. We're willing to negotiate small-volume deals on "blank books", larger volumes on "fake food cans", and a number of other items, reviewed on an individual basis. Obviously the better prices will be found on items you wish to actually stock, as opposed to those you have us drop-ship.
To discuss any item or present a proposal, just Email.
Thanks...
