When we receive your order, we may occasionally have a question that needs to be answered by you before we can complete that order. That's why we ask for your email address. Unfortunately, some customers enter an invalid email address. This can happen for various reasons, among them:
The customer is a scammer and doesn't want us to know their real address
The customer accidentally typed it incorrectly
The customer was afraid to supply a valid address for fear of being spammed
We sympathize with the latter. Receiving spams in the form of "newsletters" and "special offers", etc., from misguided businesses we've had the misfortune to order from, drives us absolutely nuts. The moment we receive such nonsense, we immediately remove that seller from our list of acceptable vendors. We place from 5 to 25 orders per day ourselves, re-supplying stocks. Imagine the chaos that ensures when that many businesses somehow feel they have the right to start sending us unsolicited emails and offers after we've been unfortunate enough to have placed one lousy order from them. We have MANY times been forced to threaten legal action against such morons to make them finally stop. Amazon.com is among the worst of all offenders in this regard. No matter how many times or in what manner we "opt out" of receiving mindless BS from Amazon.com, it just keeps coming, sometimes at the rate of half a dozen per day. Sooner or later we will probably be forced to file criminal charges of harassment against Amazon.com. In any case, please rest assured that if you supply your real email address to us, we will never, ever sell it, give it away, let it slip, or send you junk ourselves. We hate email junk a thousand times more than you do. Period.
As for accidentally typing your email address incorrectly, there's no excuse.
As for purposely typing your email address incorrectly, we may CANCEL any order in which the order confirmation email bounces back to us as undeliverable, like the one shown below:
