We’re following a breaking story at this hour. A large crowd is gathering to view what has been described as a number of crop circles that have formed just in the past few hours. The map on your screen shows the location of the circles. These particular patterns may be unique in that they apparently formed in full view of a number of local residents who say that they saw no one in the fields at the actual time the formations were created. We have reporters on the way to the scene at this moment and we’ll bring you live coverage as it becomes available. We can tell you that police are on the scene and we’re just getting word that a number of Air Force helicopters have landed on the roadways in the area. We’re getting reports of FEMA representatives on-site, as well as the local sheriff’s department and a heavy media presence. The number of onlookers is now numbered in the hundreds and is apparently growing dramatically. The formations are reported to be mostly plain circles, but a number of complex patterns have been described as well, and there are unsubstantiated rumors that patterns are continuing to form even as onlookers watch. We’ll bring you more live coverage at the top of the hour. And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.
